A San Diego passion project
Hand-drawn coloring pages of beloved icons from the '50s through the '80s. Free for anyone caring for a senior with dementia, anywhere in the world.
Familiar Faces is a passion project by a local San Diego artist dedicated to bringing joy to seniors living with dementia.
We draw each page by hand: portraits of singers, actors, and entertainers from the 1950s through the 1980s. A familiar face can spark a memory and start a conversation. We send around 40 pages to anyone who asks, free, worldwide.
Send us a photo and we'll turn it into a coloring page. A family portrait, a wedding photo, a holiday snap.
We draw it as a clean outline and send it back to you, ready to print and colour in together. Free, anywhere in the world.
Running a day center, care home, or memory care facility? We send these pages to you, wherever you are.
We send our full collection to your facility at no cost. Print and use them whenever you need. No budget, no paperwork.
We're putting together a printed edition of all 40 pages, bound and ready to gift.
Digital pages are free now. The book will be on Amazon when it's ready.
